The Sea LifeCenter in Konstanz will be show you a charming world of seas and waters. Especially you can get to know the fishes of the Lake of Constance, but also the big fishes from the sea, e. g. a shark or the small starfishes. It is even permit to stroke them. Look at the feeding for the animals live.

It’s a special experience. You are walking through a almost 20 hectare piece of forest. And in this forest they are living about 200 free monkeys. No bars, no ditch. You will be guest in the home of this bright-eyed animals. And if you want to, you can feed the monkeys with special rehashed popcorn. Open-air museum

All of the buildings are descend form the southwest of Baden-Wuerttemberg and most of them from the schwaebische Alb, form the Black Forest and from the northern und western region of Lake of Constance. That’s the most beautiful place of our country.

24 historical buildings are evenly distributed of five assembly units. That’s what you find in our little museum village. The buildings were displaced from the original place to this place. It would be tried to save the original substance of the buildings and to get the old testimony of historical architecture and the way to live. You can find things like the house of a peon and the potent farmhouses, from weaver house till Black Forest farm, from the blacksmith and the big ropemaker till the grinder and the saw, from the school and the city hall till the little church in the village.

“Hegau” museum in Singen

The “Hegau”-museum in Singen shows you a big collection of archaeological finds in Baden-Wuerttemberg from the old stone age till the merowing age. You can find things like tools and weapon which was made by fire stone and bones from animals, grave ceramic, jewelry from the iron age and adjuncts from Alemannic graves. A big attraction of the museum is the stone age workshop. You can start up the workshop if you announce this before. You can also see a butterfly and bettle collection.

Nordic Walking Park at the Bavarian Lake of Constance

The towns Bodolz, Lindau, Nonnenhorn und Wasserburg are linked with a 130 km course in the northic walking park “Bavarian Lake of Constance”. You can choose between 17 routes about 2,6 km till 17,5 km to walk. They are complete signposted and scaled by category.

Castle ruin “Hohentwiel” 

The “Hohentwiel” is a mountain about 686 m high. It is a volcano cone in the “Hegau”, which is located westerly from the Lake of Constance. He is the “Home-Mountain” of Singen. (county Konstanz, Baden-Wuerttemberg, Germany) Another namesake is the paddle steamer The “Hohentwiel” is one of the most distinctive volcanic cone in the “Hegau” at the Lake of Constance. This really steep cone is overtopping the rest of the volcanoes of the northwestern flat at the Lake of Constance. The “Hohentwiel” is the most southern of this former volcanoes and is 686 m high and 260 m NN over the town “Singen am Hohentwiel”.

Rhine Falls in Neuhausen, Switzerland

The Rhine Falls, the largest Falls in Europe, offer a spectacular showpiece to visitors. With an average flow of 25’000 cubic ft / sec (700 m3 / sec) the water cascades down the cataracts, which are 450 ft ( 150 m) wide and 75 ft (23 m) high. Taking a boat trip into the basin below the cataracts you can feel the great power of the rushing water.

A boat trip either to the famous rock in the middle of the Falls with a short walk to the top, or across the river below the Falls or down the Rhine River are most exciting events. Starting from the medieval castle ‘Schloss Laufen’ a path leads down alongside the splashing water onto the lookout Känzeli enabling the visitor a breathtaking contact with the Falls.
